This tutorial was made for the version 1.0.0 you have to adapt the naming of the files that changes in new version

First you have to extract the file from the .zip you can use the interface of your distribution or run this command in same folder of the app

tar -xf "Tile Map Generator Linux64.zip"

Then open the extracted folder and run this command

sudo dpkg -i tile-map-generator_1.0.0_amd64.deb

A prompt asks you if you are sure, tape "yes" than enter. Before running the app you have to navigate to the source code of the app in order to give it permission to apply modifications inside it own folder. First You have to navigate to the source app, if you don't know how you can do that use this command

wehreis tile-map-generator

it may indicate two paths, copy the path where you find "/lib" folder (in my case i took this one "/usr/lib/tile-map-generator"), then use this command

cd "source folder app/resources/app"

(source folder app refer to the result of whereis command)

once you are in the folder of source app run this command

sudo chmod -R o=rwx .

You are done now you can run the app as normal if you don't find shortcut run the name of the app in terminal
